Southshore is governed by a five member Board of Directors. All Board members are Southshore residents who volunteer their time and talents to help maintain our wonderful community. Board members are elected annually to a two year term. Terms are staggered to ensure at least two Board Members are elected annually. Board Members are elected by Area Representatives.
Southshore is divided into six (6) areas. Annually residents vote for an Area Representatives to represent their respective area. Area Representatives have two primary responsibilities. Annually they vote on the Board of Directors and ratify the annual budget. When voting, an Area Representative gets one vote per home within their respective area. Residents can instruct their Area Representative on how to vote for their home.
Board of Director meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every other month starting at 7:00 p.m. No meetings held in December.
